About Acres Blue
A Mineral Consulting Company
Acres Blue is a consulting business. Our vision is to empower the mineral owner.
The first customer that approached me to work as their “Family Landman” asked me to make them a Mineral Portfolio. They inherited 15-20 parcels of around 250 acres in different counties in West Virginia. Like most people who inherit minerals, they were unsure of the location, the amount, and most importantly, the value of all of those assets. I created a 1000+page portfolio using Adobe Acrobat Pro . Carl and his wife Elizabeth are getting older and wanted to leave their next generation something tangible and easy to read. Carl also requested the digital portfolio be printed into hardcover books. Acres Blue produced a complete set of 15 books detailing his wife’s family lineage including where the minerals came from and what districts and counties they are in now. The books also have pages designed to show him where current and future laterals are being drilled through each parcel and their production numbers to date.
Along the way $250,000 was collected from an Oil and Gas company that was holding Carl’s royalties in suspense!
A different mineral owner and customer of Acres Blue was able to collect over $180,000 being held in suspense!
One of Acres Blue’s biggest advantages is that we can navigate through complex online databases, mapping systems, and division order calculations. Let our company do for you what we have been doing for the oil and gas companies for the last decade. You should be using this time to help yourself by allowing Acres Blue to make your portfolio. Be informed and make better decisions with your oil and gas assets!
Acres Blue is determined to bring an affordable option for mineral management to all mineral owners.
Acres Blue will also help to locate any funds that you have in escrow or suspense.
If there is an opportunity that the mineral owner would like to use for selling some minerals/royalties, let Acres Blue bring in trusted companies to evaluate and give you an honest assessment of their value.
